3rd party wheeled rear rack for Birdy
You can wheeled the folded birdy along just like what you can do on a folded Brompton. Furthermore, one the of wheels is actually a caster which let you change direction easily when pushing the folded bike.

Also the beauty of the standard Birdy rack is that is suspended, unlike this.
I do like the caster idea tho!

I'm not sure you could really use that rack for a significant amount of carrying stuff. I think that one would be better off just making a doo-hickey with two roller blade wheels to roll the bike while folded.

Looks nice, but seems to address maneuverability more than carrying capacity. Sort of like the Brompton wheel system.
If looking for the same idea but with more rack usability, check out the one here, and they also have a two wheel only version(not a rack tho) - https://www.mizutanibike.co.jp/bd-1/accessory.html
Birdy are marketed as the BD-1 and Bianchi Fretta in Japan and Mizutani are the Japanese BD-1 distributor.
I've got a 2005/6 Silver and the fender stay mounting points are different, so these wouldn't work without modding. Seems there's at least three or four versions of the swing arm with different hardware mounting points. Same goes for the OEM folding rack, won't work with some earlier models.
