Bicycle Repair Man !!!
My '93 Sentra... it's a little battered and will need some bodywork this spring and has 250,000 km on the odometer.
It is a bombproof little bike hauler and a car that has crossed every pass in the rockies in good weather and bad, been to the west coast several times, and taken me back and forth between here and Portland repeatedly with nary an issue.
Despite our cold winter temps it never fails to start when you turn the key and is one of the best winter cars I have ever had... it rolls around on Nokians when there is snow.
I paid $1.00 for it and might have put $500.00 into it for new front brakes, a new battery, a little exhaust work, and a new tie rod end.

Smart cars also piss me off... they do not get much better mileage than my Sentra and I can't forget the Prius.
Favourite cars were my Thunderbird turbo coupe and my '75 Toyota Land Cruiser... they were both bulletproof and while one would light up the tyres at 60 kmh, got great mileage, and handled like it was on rails the Landcruiser would go anywhere although it would not go faster than 110 kmh because of the low gearing in the tranny.
Taking the roof off the Land Cruiser in the summer was a no brainer...

Your cog is slipping.
I don't currently own a car that I actually drive but my mostly stock 1972 Dodge Hemi Charger (which belonged to my Dad and has 32,000 original miles on it) is in a garage back in MA and I am working on purchasing a '65 Dodge A100 van.
Angie drives a 2006 Subaru WRX hatchback.

Pics of STi? You ready for the flood of R32s?
I wouldn't mind the wagon, just as long as it's 4doors. Have you seen the wagon with the 3SGE? It was at hellaflush in 2012 I believe

MG ZR160
You didn't get them in America. In fact, only 48 made it to Australia before MG-Rover went tits-up. Sold over 10,000 in the UK though.
1.8 litre, 4 cylinders, Variable Valve Control to give 160hp in a car that weighs 1100kg.
That VVC is fantastic - she pulls from 1,500 revs right through 7,000 where the rev-limiter cuts in and the power curve is dead straight.
Smaller than she looks but you can fold the seats down and put a bike in the back. She's also supposed to have a large, rear spoiler but it parted company with the rest of the car during the previous owner's stewardship.

I hate distracted drivers. Sitting up on a bike seat at a red light you can tell who's crotch-gazing when the light turns green.

Current car: 02 Mazda Protege 5 w/ studded snow tires. Colorway: Silver and Maine Rust. A friendly, sympathetic mechanic, who has overlooked much in the past when inspection time rolled around knowing I'd fix it, has just condemned it. Frame rot.
Looking for: early 00s cargo van or utility body cutaway for vandwelling/stealth urban camping.
Lust after: 50s BMW Isetta with newer oilhead boxer engine. Scion IQ. Asian-market Kei Microvan. Unimog. Mercedes TN/TN1 van. Sprinter. Moto Guzzi V7 Sport.
Can't stand: any car with a driver talking on a cell phone. Driver's who think 4WD/AWD means they can act like idiots on snow and ice.

At the moment we have an E280 CDI with Airmatic suspension. It's very comfy for taking us and two dogs from Scotland to France.
I also have a 97 VFR 750 (interceptor in the states). Summer only but doesn't do many miles as we use the bikes a lot.
My favourite car that I have owned is either a Saab 900 Turbo classic shape or our Mark II VW Golf GTI

I drive an '85 Pontiac Fiero with a 3800 V6 engine swap and some suspension stuff. And a '94 GMC Sonoma for the winter.
In the near future I want to get an A4 or WRX hatch.

I have a 2000 Volvo S70. Mostly a winter car; I do almost everything on a bike when the roads are clear.

We have a 2011 Honda Fit sport with a nasty speed wobble at 85mph (triple salvage, lol), an 88 Honda Accord that looks/runs brand new, and a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox which luckily isn't a lemon. I noticed the equinox had a nasty knock around 1750 rpm, the dealership plugged it in, did some computery stuff and now the knock is gone and I get about 2mi/gallon better city. Oh ok.
Oh, we've got an all original 67 Corvette that my gma is the original owner of. Paid cash off the lot, her first car. $5000. Less than the down payment on her equinox haha.
