Why? Well, if you were bored, or incel, and just felt like being a ____ and doing stuff to your forum mates. Would you do it using your real username?

I asked a simple question and he gave me a simple, direct answer. What's your problem with that?

Call me crazy but to me that is a key piece of information to this topic in case a "noob" is googling it and comes across it. Last time I checked, that is actually the sole purpose of a forum.

Now if the mods want old threads archived, here's another pro tip: forum software allows that. How do I know? I've owned several.

Pro tip#2: Want a thread to die? Don't respond. [we didn't]

Oh almost forgot: not trying to attack or anything. mmmkay?
None of that explains why you couldn't mention the fact that the o.g. is a decade old. If you're a newbie, I'm Arthur, Future King of England.

ok well this seems to have been going quite well. I just wanna drop a few things in here:

1) Mods are volunteers and (in this forum model) have little to no direct access to forum design or "back end" features.

2) theronin's mechanism for thread revival is what I see most often: a new user who found a discussion on google

closing this for a bit, doesn't seem to be super productive so far. thanks for chiming in with a helpful comment sean.hwy

This is the point I preach all the time, but like moths to a flame they just can't resist having something to say. SMH

Sorry for the disruption, OP, but the thread is too damaged to leave it open.
