High Visibility Jacket
Can someone recommend an inexpensive high visibility jacket (or maybe a vest) in a 3XL? I bike mainly in dry weather, 35-45 degrees...
Thanks.
Thanks.

In Australia they sell high visibility clothing for workplaces. They are also good for cycling. There are a lot of different jackets to choose from. Some are not very expensive. I don't know where you are from, or what they sell there.

I got my money's worth out of Showers Pass Transit jacket, but it's neither cheap nor inexpensive (unless you count 5 winters of commuting, then it's a lot less expensive than a cheaper one every year or two!).

I bought a cycling jacket from amazon. It is a very light jacket, basically just the shell with no liner, enough to keep the wind off you but keep you warm if you dress warm underneath. Usually I generate so much heat while riding that it keeps me warm in cool or cold weather. All I need is a cotton T-shirt and my cycling pants. And it's bright yellow for visibility.
You mention 35-40 degree weather, if that's Celsius then you probably wouldn't want to wear this jacket as it would be too hot. In that situation, I wear shorts and a moisture wicking, brightly colored T-shirt.

They've got a couple that might suit you. Cycling jackets, both of them, and in bright high-viz yellow.
Yellowjacket wind jacket -- available in 3XL (54-56" chest) and 4XL (57-60" chest); with cyclist's cut, pit zips; $65 for 3XL size.
Waterproof rain jacket -- available up to 3XL; with cyclist's cut, pit zips; $45 for 3XL size.
Not as inexpensive as some, but durable, functional, decently made.

Ikea sells a very inexpensive vest with reflective stripes and flourescent orange color. It is about $5 per vest. I use one at night that has lasted me about 10 years so far. It is very similar to what road crews use in appearance...

I just use a mesh road work vest that I can put over anything. It does bind up on occasion but I felt it was a good choice to be able to throw over whatever I was wearing.
