Fender size for 700 x 35c Tyre

Howdy good people,

So for a tyre thats 700 x 35c what kind of fender should I best go with , does 45mm in width sound about right?

I am looking at sks Blumels.

45's have always worked for me with 35mm tires. You should be fine.

Bikes: A few older US made Cannondales, a modern Soma Saga (no longer made, alas!), and one gifted crabon Specialized. Never enough.

I’ll second that, with the caveat that you may wish to consider an even wider fender just in case you decide to go with wider tires in the future. Of course, it depends on what your frame can handle.

I have SKS SpeedRockers on my CX bike. Tires are 32mm street and 35mm knobby for offroad. I've put 1000 miles this winter and have arrived home with my cloths clean and dry.
