Amish Community full of tricycles

I found this cool video of the Pinecraft vacation community for Amish and Mennonite groups and noticed the loads of commuter tricycles everywhere. Quite a few of them even using electric hub motors. I looked into it, seems a local bike shop nearby rents out a lot of them though I have seen some packed down and being loaded on the busses with their other luggage as they head back north for the summer so it looks like they personally own some of them as well.

Gotta love cruiser trikes.

Wow! This was only taken this year, last march to be specific. Awesome, great place to bike in!

Indeed. I've seen similar photos going back to 2011 as well. Nice quiet backroads with plenty of trike space, and minimal camber too. Off-level surfaces aren't your friend on an upright trike. Actually just dug mine out of storage last month. Been barely ridden until now. Lot of fun I missed out on, been blasting it uphills on long rides to get my legs stronger again for XC MTB season later. Surprised a lot of the muscle is still there after not riding much for a couple months after xmas.
