Early full suspension MTB

This is a 92/93 Amp Research(Horst Leitner) with the first iteration of the horst link, rebadged by Mongoose as an Amplifier.
Found in the local classifieds as F&F, never built. Try to stay period correct. Hi
Slowly been collecting the bits and its coming together. Should have it done in the next month or so, just in time for some trails to open.
It won’t see any thing too technical, with less than 2” travel f&r.
enjoy the pics.

Cant wait to see it finished!

definitely a valued piece of MTB history, especially with the Lawwill design leading link fork!

While Mert did have a linkage fork, the lawwill leader, the amp fork was designed by Leitner.
interestingly they both came out of the motorcycle industrial.

I share your affinity for the bicycles of AMP Research:

B3, B4 and Mercedes B5
none have an XTR crankset like that!
