Folks that claim a 2 mile hill at 15% is "nothing" are either
a) full of crap keyboard warrior trolls
b) pro cyclists
c) have never ridden hills.
I then realized (c) may be a real demographic, so I asserted the arbitrary 100 mile flat comparison
to make a point to the muppies and kittens

If you did a 2 mile 15% hill, that's 1600 feet of climbing, yet this 2 mile hill was part of an 8 mile ride in which you only did 800 feet of climbing.
Guess that ride got tougher after you did it, huh? Congratulations on exposing who is the lying keyboard warrior here (spoiler alert--look in the mirror).
I've done a ride several times where I climb 1000 feet in 6 miles, then continue to do the remaining hilly 74 miles of the ride. I've done that in 90 degree heat, so maybe lay off the silly muppies and kittens accusations. Yes, I can make a relatively flat 100 miles more challenging than an 8 mile hilly ride--it's called riding fast.
Just saw the other people who caught this--man, you really stepped into that face plant!

You need to make up your mind about what the hill was...
Your lack of knowledge about riders and riding is glaringly obvious.
EDIT: I don't recall anyone saying a 15% climb was "nothing", but 20 minutes of climbing is not more difficult (a bigger effort) than 5+ hours of flat riding. I have experience with both.

Or, it's all BS. Either is a possibility, at this point.
EDIT: Wait...2 miles in 20 minutes is 6mph, not 15.

That's enough of the nonsense.
