I rode over 1000km in May, but it was a bit ugly. Dnf'd a 600k after about 300k, Finished a 600k, and DNF'd a 1200k after about 400k.

I missed this thread too, until now.

But, oo-we, I think I hit the 1000 km mark in April, May, and June. Hope to manage that in July and August as well.

As I wrote in a thread I created when I couldn't find this one (perhaps I didn't look all that hard?):

June-2018 is the first month since August-2015 that I've accumulated 1000-kms or more rando-credit-wise.
Woohoo!
(Or maybe that should be: Woohoo?)
========================================
987 RUSA credit kms the last 15 days of June (there's a 205-km perm for which the results are yet to be posted).
If I can keep that up, the goal I put on the "goals thread" in the last 24 hours ought to be easy enough.
100+ km Perm-Populaires, starting at 0530 or 0430 make it easier 'cuz I can finish before the real heat of the day fires up, and make it into afternoon work shifts feeling fresh.

My best month thus far this year is 498 miles (May). If I'm going to hit 1,000K (622 miles), then July is the month where I can make it happen. Looks like I will be riding every weekend this month with at least 2 of those weekends having back to back long rides. Work obligations get in the way of riding during the week. I have a LOT of late nights in the lab with my students in the summer semester.

I would certainly hit 1000km in more months, but most of my training time is spent on a trainer. Lots easier for me to control the amount of effort I put out.

I hit 1448km in May, and 2248km in June. I think that's too much volume for me...

1,034 km for May, and 1,209 for June.

I still have yet to do a 100+ mile ride this year, but that should be fixed soon!

We were on our way to a 1000 km month in March. Got to 471 km, with a 360 and 200 km planned before the end of the month ................

Surprised myself: I surpassed 1,000 km each of March, April, and May. Too many days without riding to make it in June, between "vacation" and business travel. (How can it be a vacation if you can't ride your bike??)

Still haven't got a 200k, or even a century, in the last few years. I'm getting better, and stronger, and riding longer -- when it's not too dang hot.

Made it...barely!

I hit 1,000 km on August 29, and finished the month with 1,070 km and 8,795 meters climbing.

No August centuries, but still not a bad month of riding!

September: 1,265 km, 9,730 meters.

That'll be a wrap for this year, though I might try to keep going with a metric a month (outdoors of course)!

Congratulations, @wipekitty!

I keep forgetting about this thread. But I'm having a good year by this metric. Commuting miles count, right?

April............1569
May.............1279
June............1779
July.............1694
August... .....1477
September...1283
October*......1194

*... and October isn't done yet! (I'm optimistic about Sunday).

I guess I had more than 1000 km in a month several times. 1122 km in March, 1109 in April, 1128 in May, 1224 in June, 1016 in July, and 1276 in August

Some time was lost before we got him on a ride home, so we cut our ride short... but I still got 100 miles in. Since it wasn't a permanent or a brevet, that doesn't count as a DNF or DQ, right?

Anyway, total for October is more like 1330 km.
