Which saddles are you using?
With regards to gravel bikes, I was wondering what saddles you guys are using.
As is the norm, the stock saddles on most bikes are not great and I've got a bag full of saddles that I've built up over the years.
I've even got a brand new Brooks England Flyer (the one which is a B17 with some small springs on the back).
I could put that on my fattie and use the Specialized Phenom Expert from that as it would be a better fit on the gravel bike.

Brooks Cambium.
c17 model.
comfortable for me and better looking than a b17 on modern bikes.
if I could find another saddle with the dimensions of a c17 I would try it out(have another c17 on one of my road bikes too). Would like to have a different option thats lighter and most likely less expensive.

I also have an assortment of lousy stock saddles, some of which are in storage, others are delegated to bikes I don’t ride often or only short distances.
I have a Brooks B17 on my indoor trainer. I put it on the trainer a few years ago because I didn’t find it comfortable on longer distance rides...I should try it again on a long ride though, as now it is much more broken in.
My favorite saddle by far is my Selle Anatomica NSX. I have an older one made out of non-reinforced leather (“truleather” I think it was called) so it has stretched out a little, but not that bad, and there is still plenty of room on the tension screw....I think the secret is to not tighten it too much, it’s more comfortable a little loose anyway. If all of my other saddles are dining room table chairs, this thing is the living room recliner...very nice, can sit in it all day long, and have many times...it was comfortable for me on the first ride.

Very much so. It definitely allows for a more aggressive forward positioning. I had a Phenom for about two rides and sold it.

fabric saddles on the gravel and cross bike. They have a bit of give that acts like suspension compared to my stiff Fizik road saddles. Tried the brooks cambiums and they were even softer but didn't agree with my sitbones

I may still have a Scoop in my bag of spare saddles. I know I've got a spare Fabric Radius Elite but that's a saddle for upright riding so may not work out great.
Unfortunately when I bought a load of saddles over the years they were all designed for upright riding.
The Romin seems to be ideal so I may pick one up from my local Specialized store if they have a 155mm in stock. I've got 143mm Phenoms but I found a chart online for Specialized saddles and my sit bones overlap the 143mm and 155mm width saddles.
Unfortunately when I bought a load of saddles over the years they were all designed for upright riding.

I have been using the Rivet Independence now for over a year. From the 1st day of using this saddle... it just disappears under you.

ISM Adamo Road. I have the racing on my road bike and it's worked for every long ride since I got used to it. Better for positioning and for numbness.
Using stock on my fat bike still but I don't do longer rides (over 1.5 hours) and in summer I spend more time out of the saddle as it's non suspension
Road cross etc. Adamo all the way!

Faric Scoop Flat on road and gravel, Specialized Phenom on mountain bike...need to replace the Phenom as it's definitely less comfortable for my sitter.
