US: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Massachusetts, New York, Delaware, Maryland, North and South Carolina, and Louisiana.

Overseas: England, Belgium, Holland, France, Germany, and Argentina.

I hope to add Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, and Italy to that list... and Morocco if I'm feeling really brave! (Plus California, New Hampshire or Vermont, and the US southwest)

Good topic! I can add a good one: Nepal. Went there with my wife and did a few days of tandem rides, you can imagine with our foldable 20 incher we were not blending in...
I am originally from Italy so did it there for a while plus: Austria, Switzerland, Germany, France, Holland, England
In US: Oregon, Colorado, New York, New Hempshire, California, Washington, Utah, Vermont

At one point 10 years ago or so, I had a goal of circumnavigating the borders of Maine off road. Starting at my house I managed to map out and ride about 150 off road miles. That still leaves 1000 or so left.

But to date, I ride mostly in Maine and NH

I have also touched wheels in MD, VA, MA, NY, PA,CN, NJ, NC, CA, CO, AZ, TX, WV, OH, FL.

I don't know if this counts, but I have skateboarded in almost all of the lower 48. I used to take a skateboard with me when I drove trucks long distance. Loading docks and tour sites were great places to ride. The best were the spiral ramps at the many stadiums I stopped at. I also skateboarded at Universal Studios in Hollywood.

My dream ride is to ride the length of New Zealand and back.

Edit note - I forgot my rides in Canada - Ontario, Quebec, New Foundland, and PEI

I may never get all 50 states, mostly because I have no plans to ever go to Hawaii, but I'm about 1/3 of the way there already:
Alaska, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan (both peninsulas,) Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

I haven't ridden in Canada at all, in spite of being less than 100 miles from the border with Ontario.

edit: since 2006, I've added Oregon to my list. My oldest son will be moving to Charlotte NC in a few months, so while NC isalready on my list, I'll probably be adding SC eventually just by virtue of riding around when visiting him. Capturing the nearby southern states might be the subject of a day trip or two.

It's funny how I rode a lot in college, and a lot now, but I only have a few states:

IA, KS, MN, VA, VT, MD, ME

The first five are because that's where I lived: only Maryland and Maine were as a 'non-resident'.

Now I've added Denmark, and I'll certainly get four or five European countries within the next year (hopefully Germany, maybe Benelux in October).

So far:
Sweden...
Which also happens to be where I live.

But, I also happen to live in a city with a ferry service to Denmark, which is only 50 miles away. I plan to go to Denmark this summer. Short trip of a couple of days only. Don't have time for more than that.
Norway isn't that far away either. Only about 140 miles from here, and should I decide not to ride there, I can get a train almost all the way to the border and start from there.

So, by summer's end, I should have added Denmark and Norway to my list...

I just did some riding in Nicaragua this summer and loved it.

While there I met a couple of guys on their way from Guatemala to Panama. One of the nice things about riding in Central America is that you can always toss your ride up on top of the bus when you need to get somewhere quick.

In your case it may count. But in my case I don't really consider those sub-five-mile (normally) adventures riding. Except they WERE a lot of fun and that's the whole point. So ok, it counts for me too.

Didn't know Washington D.C. was a state. I thought it was the District of Columbia.
