We even had a couple inches in Baton Rouge a few weeks ago. Doesn't happen very often though. First time my two and four year old pups have ever seen snow.

You must mean, "The Great Southeastern December Blizzard and Snowstorm of 2017", we got snowed in here, in NW Florida, with the snowdrifts from the almost 0.50".

It looks like this one uses a conventional seat post instead of the quill type post. Thats good because the quill types are tough to come by.

I made one with a bolt from a long stem and by chopping a seatpost at an angle.
