104 degrees!!!
This is crazy 
even for here. So much for summer being over all I want is lower 90s. I want to be fit not dead from heatstroke. So here I sit in the AC drinking a Diet Dr. Pepper then a talking head on TV starts preaching how bad diet sodas are. I can’t win! 
I guess being 50+ I’m starting to figure out working out in 100 degree + heat isn’t that good for you.

Cool weather here, supposedly hit 83 degrees. Only problem with that is we had lots of street flooding due to all the rain the last three days. Damn near drowned my car several times this afternoon trying to find a high enough path home. Hope I didn't warp my brake rotors like I did earlier this year.

I think we're finally done with 100+ degree days in Tucson. I'm guessing another couple of weeks and I'll be able to handle the temps enough to ride after work.

We're still in the 90's in L'ville KY area and moderate drought (driest it's been in 20 years!) Seems like crazy weather everywhere. Hoping it isn't the "new norm".

For me, that is the bomb. Actually by those mini cans and stuff one in my cycling jersey for some quick energy after 25 miles. Even if it is a bit warm. Just like in the movie "Blast from the Past" drinking warm Dr. Pepper.

I had a cpl long hot rides this summer. I think it took a cpl days to recover from those due to the heat. be careful!

Supposed to hit 90 on Sunday in Philly. Well above average. Not good. The only upside to unseasonably warm weather is that I may be able to get some long weekend tours in in October and maybe even November. Several years ago we had a weekend in the upper 70s two weeks before Christmas. Did a long weekend tour. Was sitting outside having brunch while Santa was entertaining the kids across the street. Odd for this part of the world.

Finally got in a ride this morning. First time in 7 days. 
Breezy and cool at less than 80 degrees. Plenty of washed out mud on the ride, though. Good thing I took the fendered bike.

I saw all the flooding in the Houston/Galveston area on TV. We need rain but not flooding. I will finally get a ride in this evening it only going to be 93 that is much better than 100+.

I won’t see those temperatures until December. Drove part of the Oregon coast last June then stayed a few days at Cascade Locks. Loved the weather.

It was only 93 here today and it felt nice. Went for a 5 hour ride with the club and drank 6 bottles and I'm not too dehydrated. Great compared to 100+.

This is our first week without any triple digit temps in the forecast, this is why I usually ride at 5AM, and even at that I had lots of mornings at 96+ degrees this summer. I've been out at 117 (The thermometer at the house read 123 though) for a very short 6 mile ride. I can take the heat or the sun, just not both at the same time. I can say that after being here in Arizona for 15 years I find it easier to ride at 105 degrees than at 40.

Got in a 31.5 mile ride in today. Temperatures 93-94 with a good breeze. I didn’t mind fighting the wind for part of the route. Sweated out last nights beer

Cooler here today in the low 90s, but it's getting back near 100 next week. It will be a record warm September. Hasn't rained all month either.
