The most outrageous bike I have ever seen

This bike was donated to the bike Exchange Saturday . When I saw it I was Gob Smacked.

You have to spend a little time studying it to realize just how bizarro it is.

It is more a work of art than a bicycle. Surprising
it is relatively light All aluminum . Still I can't imagine it as a daily driver.

It belongs on a rotating pedestal with lighting .

Have you seen the Giant Revive? It was a funky take on a mix between a recumbent and foot-forward cruiser.

Mmm, looks more bike than work of art to me. But what bonehead did the rear wheel with radial spokes?

Pretty, though.

The chain case and the rear fender that is integrated into the frame seems to me the weirdest part of it. Other than that, I don't find all that bizarre.

Cyclavia is always a fun event for bicycle contraptions.

Two BMX bikes, sprouting wings.

Yes, there is a bike powering the armadillo!

Another butterfly BMX.

The most outrageous bike I've seen was a picture of a bike (posted on this site, I think) of someone's bike where they had bar ends attached to bar ends attached to bar ends. If it were a deer it'd have been shot by a trophy hunter a long time ago. Unfortunately I can no longer find the picture.

I would have had no idea what that meant if not for the fact I've been watching one episode per night of the old "Twilight Zone", and just saw that episode a couple weeks aog.

What is the Giant Revive supposed to be reviving? A Bike-E?

Really like the butterflies. I have to wonder if those act as functional sails, but I'm guessing they don't.

Lookin' at that chain guard and fender makes me hungry for Fruit Stripe Gum, and I don't even chew gum.

You just know the person who rides that bike is a real character. I would expect to hear long-winded lectures about the Federal Reserve, UFO's, and the Trilateral Commission from such a rider. And how lycra and drop bars are tools of Satan. Or Peter Sagan at least ... he's half lizard, or did you not know that?

I honestly think he needs a 4th set of bar ends at the very top. Or some clip-on aero bars in the middle.

I like the chain guard and bottom fairing and would kinda like to emulate it. Also the brake lever setup is something I've been wanting to rig up, with anti-skid on the back.

This guy (and his bike) is pretty outrageous. He's kind of a legend in Pittsburgh. It is not just for show. He rides everywhere. Guy gives zero f***s.
