Difference in helmets?

Hey is there any difference besides the visor between mtb helmets n road helmets?

Other than the visor, the other difference generally is a road helmet has larger vents than a MTB helmet. The reason for this is to make it harder for branches to get through the smaller vents of a MTB helmet.

Safety-wise all helmets have the pass the same tests.

My MTB helmet comes down lower on the sides and back for better protection in certain types of crashes. Some MTB helmets have built-in jaw/chin protection.

I ride my road bike with a MET mtb helmet, it works just fine, i would say it's slightly bulkier than road helmets i've seen and the vents are probably a bit smaller
