New bike decision, need help Trek 7.4 vs Sirrus Comp

New bike decision, need help Trek 7.4 vs Sirrus Comp
Hello everyone,
First of all let me say this is my first post and I am glad to be here... Now, the question
I am looking to replace my specialized hardrock mtb and currently I have two choices to go with:
1. Specialized sirrus comp 2014 (One month old and in great condition) Medium
Specialized Bicycle Components
2. Trek 7.4 FX Disc 2014 (New bike) Medium
Trek 7.4 FX Disc - first ride review - BikeRadar USA
I rode both bikes and I feel comfortable riding both of them while the specialized feels a little more stretched out, probably due to the frame geometry? Anyways, the difference on price is $50 dollars, the specialized been more expensive.
I will use it to commute to work 31.4 miles flat pavement round trip and weekend rides about 40-60 miles.
With that said, what is your opinion about these two and which one would you get?
