Quality Mesh & Leather Padded Gloves: Where to find?

I love the pair of black-mesh padded-leather weightlifting gloves that I purchased from Big-5 over five years ago. They were comfortable, well ventilated and didn't interfere with my phone/touch pad use.

They were reasonably priced because they were not labeled as "cycling" gloves. The fingers and palm recently came apart :-(

I searched and I can not find this type of glove with the quality that I'm accustomed to.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Try Rivendell. I think it’s rivbike.com

If you want to pay a lot of money for the, try Rapha.

Most bike stores sell these, which are fine. Not black, though, which is probably for the best when riding on hot, sunny, Summer days.

I'll also throw in a recommendation for the Aerotech Designs gloves. You can get the crotcheted-backed gloves with no padding, some padding, or extra padding. Personally, I use the ones with a full backing (not crotcheted). Here's all their fingerless styles:

I've found their sizing runs a little small so order a size bigger than you would for other brands of gloves.
