A Trek 760 or 770 would also be great. I have a really nice Campagnolo Chorus 9 speed group that needs a frame.

Still looking for a frame, ideal frame would have race geometry, 55-56cm top tube, clamp on f/d, and english threads. I would really like to just swap my parts over. Thanks

How about an '87 Schwinn Tempo? Race geo, 56 top tube, clamp FD., english threading.
Original teal and white but I also have a new ser of Velocals in silver, including the Tenax decal...if'n you feel like painting. Not that it needs it, but, you know.

Bummer on the seat tube.
I am completely refurbishing an '86 22.5" Trek 520.
It will be 2 cm too short for me, I am sure. (Although I will do everything in my power to make it fit)
It will be a nice bike for someone.

I have this gorgeous Fuso. Marked a 57 = 56cm CTC seat tube, 55cm CTC top tube, #1685 , built in 1988. An FRX, so upgraded finish and braze on FD mount. SLX tubing, Columbus dropouts. Campagnolo seat post binder bolt, comes with cage bolts and dropout screws and a nice Campagnolo headset.
Stunning condition, just two small touchups on the chainstay. No disappointments here!
$500 plus shipping.

No matter how much I have to spend, all the good ones are always just outside my budget.

I have a '87 56cm TT Master Ironman, straight and true, think color is called sea foam (sort of celeste) and white, no rust, only a few paint scars. PM me if you want pics.
