WTT: XT bottom pull for XT top swing
I have a 28.9 post bottom pull Shimano XT fd-m750 (i believe) that i would like to trade for a top swing of the same or earlier vintage. The der is in great shape, 8/10, looking for similar. Can take pictures this evening. Idealy, each party would just pay respective shipping, but let me know what youre thinking.
Thanks, Kevin

Really not sure what you want but I have a few NOS and excellent condition XT FD's,
Clamp sizes are 28.6, 31.8 or 34.9
Bottom Pull or Top pull & sometimes both
Top swing or bottom swing, never look to see what the differences are between the two ( besides the obvious ).

I do believe I have the exact derailleur, or very close. New in the box, but possibly a little dusty. It still has the adjustment peg in it, that they come with for the initial setup. Top pull is the only thing that kept it from going on a bike, since 99.9 percent of my bikes are bottom pull. I can dig it out tomorrow afternoon and take a few pics. That's if rainageddon 2016 is over by then.,,,,BD

Trade is fine. I have a thing for mid eighties and up XT. I will be home in about an hour, then a little decompression time, haha. I should have pics by 5 central.,,,BD

Well, I remembered wrong, by a little. It is an M737. The rough finished 8 speed version. It should work with 9 speed though. It is top pull and 28.6 clamp though. I'll understand if you want or need a 750. I do now have the rear match for this derailleur, so I won't be heartbroken over it. I will eventually find a steel frame with a top pull setup. Let me know.,,,,BD
Looking closer at it, there are a couple of little odd whitish circles on the silver part of the upper pivot. You can kind of see them in the picture a little. A shop wear scratch maybe? Not sure how thy got there, but they're there. Just trying to go full disclosure.

It is actually WAY prettier than the camera could capture.... That much is true. The chrome is clear and shiny, bolts all have chrome in the allen holes, etc etc...

Got a better shot outdoors. Not raining anymore, but still gloomy. Don't mind my gnarled claw, lol. It's got 48 years of wear and tear on it.,,,,BD

Nothing here yet, and never got a tracking number? I tried PMing a few days ago?,,,,BD
Did you ship First Class after I shipped mine to you Priority Mail? That would be the only thing that would explain a shipping time of 15 plus days??

22 days since you said you shipped your end of the trade. I either need a tracking number, or some money for the derailleur I shipped to you.,,,,BD

Once is an accident. Twice is a habit.

Sucks. I've been in your shoes before on here, but with a different user. Reportedly, he had it all packed up and ready to ship...
So, I just sent my failed trade partner a PM for the first time in 3 years reminding him that I am still waiting....

Grady did finally receive his parts, if that's any comfort.

How hard is it to throw a front derailleur in a small box, and SHIP it? I stood in line 20-25 minutes and shipped Priority Mail. What a class act.,,,,BD
