doing the 2015 Fat Bike Birkie next week in Wisconsin.
Anyone in the past ridden this event. just wondering what tire pressure should run considering its going to be a groomed course on xc ski and ski do trail

Haven't done it. Have only test ridden fat tires on dry pavement. However, I have ridden many miles on snow, ice, slush, brown sugar, and the like with carbide studded tires. Kind of apples and oranges. But fat tires or not, I imagine the track could be downright hardpack icy in spots depending on how many bikes have packed it down before you. I'd be inclined to run them on the softer side. I suppose it also depends on whether you're going more for the experience or for a real shot at winning...and therefore need the absolute minimum rolling resistance.
Sounds like 12-15 psi would be a good starting point...Fat-bike 101 ? Tires | FAT-BIKE.COM
That said, it looks like a blast.
Good luck!
