Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Identify these handlebars

I came across this bike on the hotrnot thread, and came across a bike with these handlebars. I was looking at new handlebars with a short reach to the hoods. Can you identify or list some that have the same hood reach or style as this?

What tipped you off, the shape or the Easton logo on the stem, seatpost, forks, chainstay, or 6 times it appears on the wheels?! ;p

I figured they were eastons but didn't know exactly which model. Are these practically the same concept except cheaper? I researched and found more short reach bars and came across these which are in my budget. I suppose any other bar with a 70mm reach will do. I am just looking to get the hoods a bit closer to me as I have just swapped stems but need a bit less distance.

Zipp also makes a variety of short / shallow bars if you're looking for options.

I picked up the Ritchey NeoClassic about 6 weeks ago which is short reach and a classic look. My main complaint with most compact handlebars is the drops, which are not flat enough for me. The Ritchey is my new favorite after trying numerous others... YMMV.

They were my favorites also until I tried the FSA K-wing carbon shallow drops...very much like the Eastons but I like the flat surface on top.

EASTON takes great care in making sure you don't misplace your components...

I'm not a fan of the wings. The cheap aluminum alternative is the fsa omega compact, which I also like immensely
