Consolidated for sale thread - #1 (bikes and or framesets, parts, etc.)
Stuff for sale thread #1 –
Prices do not include shipping. Buyers will be charged actual shipping costs once those are calculated.
Bianchi Boardwalk, 16", from the early 1990s. This one was converted to drop-bars and has been powder coated in Celeste Blue (at King Coatings in Allentown). The frameset is of lugged construction and was fabricated from Tange Bianchi Special tubing (double-butted/non-heat-treated Tange chrome-moly steel), and so has good ride qualities on the road or on gravel.
Parts list:
- Shimano Ultegra hubs (36h) mated to Wolber (rear) and Araya clincher rims
- Two sets of clincher tires - 1) Continental Gatorskin / Gatorskin Ultra 28mm black-chili compound street tires; 2) Michelin Mud 32mm knobbies
- Suntour XC Pro seatpost
- Shimano Ultegra shifters (front/rear; rear is long-cage)
- Sugino-made Coda crankset; 170mm; compact design
- cartridge bottom bracket (MIJ - it's either Tange-Seiki or Shimano)
- Shimano 8-speed HG cassette (believe it's an HG50); 12/28
- KMC X9 chain
- Shimano SL-BS64 bar-end shifters
- Shimano Deore XT V-brakes
- Tektro aero v-brake levers for drops
- ITM handlebar
- WIN stem (forged in Japan)
- Tange Levin headset
The bike will be shipped without pedals or seat. I figure you'll want to pick your own.
$275 for complete bike
$150 for frameset alone (with bottom bracket, stem, seatpost and headset)
Buyer gets a set of Cinelli Celeste bar tape.
Raleigh Technium Tri-Lite; late 1980s edition in gray/blue, 49cm. The paint isn't perfect, and neither are the decals. I touched up where I could. There is still some adhesive residue from where the retroreflective decals were (I had to use them for the sake of visibility). So if you want this to be aesthetically perfect, I'd recommend a strip and repaint. The bike has few original parts, but upgrades have been made when possible. As currently equipped:
- ITM handlebars
- SR/Sakae stem (60mm)
- Fizik gray bar tape
- Tange Levin headset
- SR seatpost
- Shimano 105 crankset
- Shimano 105 shifters (on down-tube)
- Sansin Gyromaster hubs (36h) mated to Matrix 700c clincher rims
- Michelin Lithion 700c x 23mm tires
- Suntour alpha 5000 front derailleur
- Shimano 600 tricolor rear derailleur (index type; dual-spring)
- Shimano 600 UG freewheel, 6-speed; 21T max (have to confirm)
- Shimano 105 "aero(?)" pedals with toe-clips
- Selle Italia suede seat
- Shimano 105 aero brake levers
- Dia-Compe 400 brakes (single-pivot)
- Shimano cartridge bottom bracket (UN 54?)
$150 for complete bike
$50 for frameset alone
Cyclocross wheelset; 700c Mavic GP-4 red label tubulars mated to 36h Shimano Deore XT hubs. Spokes are DT Comp / DT Alpine III for additional durability. Tires are Dugast Rhinos in 32mm carcass - which have been sealed on the sides, using Barge adhesive. - $100 without 8-speed 12/27 HG cassette or $115 with cassette.
Velocity Razor rims (x2) – 36H, blue-gray anodizing, eyeletted. These have low miles. I swapped them out prior to Rodale's fall classic last year in favor of tubulars. Feline is not included - $SOLD
Shimano Uniglide cassette, 7-speed; 12-21T. As pictured - $23
Sugino VP crankset in 175mm length; has 52T/36T double chainring combination, but is drilled to accept 75bcd granny rings - $SOLD
Suntour SL front derailleur – double, non-indexing type, reverse-action - $15
Shimano 105 clipless pedals for Look cleats - good condition, but have the usual scratches and rash - $15
Campagnolo Victory Strada tubular rims, double-eyeletted/double-walled, x2, 36h, used, labels are somewhat faded on one of two, but they're straight and the tire bed is clean (I removed the old mastic). Pics to follow - $50
Suntour Cyclone II front derailleur - endless band type, pulled from an old Serotta; pics will be put up when I get them - $25
Suntour Cyclone II rear derailleur - short cage, non-indexed, also pulled from an old Serotta; pics will be put up when I get them - $40
Sugino SuperMaxy crankset - 52/42T; good condition, chainrings are drillium type; this was pulled from that same old Serotta and includes the English bottom bracket set. Pics to follow - $60
PM and responses in thread are strongly encouraged and highly appreciated. Thanks in advance - k

Can I get some pics of the Raleigh frame?
Email is fine if that is easier for you.
Edit: actually, I just found out that Techium frames are aluminum. Dad is looking for steel. Sorry to jump the gun.
