Tour de France 1962 - 19min short film

Well, as this is the 50+ forum, what could be more apt than to watch a short film of the Tour de France which was made 50yrs ago?

https://vimeo.com/21306164

This year's riders don't know how pampered they are, some scenes are brutal and yet hauntingly beautiful at the same time.

Enjoy!

Centerpull brakes, handlebar-mounted water bottles, downtube friction shifters, toeclips -- the Golden Age of Cycling. I shall have to dig up my 1957 and 1959 pictures of an Austrian champion, Adolf Christian, riding a Capo in the TdF.

Not at all George, feel free to pass it on to as many folk as you like.
Sorry about the delay in responding, just back from a break with very limited internet access - the peace and quiet were great!
