Looking for a 9/8” direct mount fork... Is that a thing I can buy?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looking for a 9/8” direct mount fork... Is that a thing I can buy?

Seems like something I wouldn't be alone in wanting, but I'm having a hard time finding anything. Mind you, I'm getting a hell of a lot of junk in my search results...

Anybody know of such a fork out there? Or at least better search terms than direct mount road fork?

1-1/8" might be a better search description.

Assuming you mean direct mount brake?

Like this (not suggesting, just an example): https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32568...andl_shipto=US

I'm not even getting to the part where I try to weed out the tapered steerers. The only real page I can find says out of stock. The rest is junk...

Get a load of this crap: https://www.csegan.tk/ProductDetail....65271&pr=83.88

Aside from that being for a minivelo, it has some weird tt-style v-brake arrangement by the look of it.

Wants direct mount road fork, instead gets link to a thru axle touring fork with a ton of warts.

I could directly mount a lot of stuff onto it, though
