Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's kind of fun to say "Rossetti", especially with an Italian accent.

I plan to. I did 3300 in 2011 (my first year of riding). Going for 4000 this year.

Lots of great MTB trails out here.

About half way through my loop I go up this monster hill and then down the other side. Very twisty. Always a bunch of motorcycles and sports cars zooming by. On the way down, some dude ran his black Ferrari off the road and into a ditch. I thought about taking a picture, but the tow-truck was there and the guy didn't look happy. Don't think he would have appreciated me capturing his misfortune. Beautiful car.

Very nice!

In the first picture the Rossetti shows up very blue, but in the rest of the pictures it looks black. Which is closest to the real color?

Probably the fourth picture is closest. It's flat black.

I did a great deal of shopping around on the internet and at about every LBS in north county San Diego. Finding someone with a CF bike under $1800 is difficult (my budget was $1600). Most LBS just looked at me like I was crazy and pointed me towards their $2000 entry level CF bikes (Focus Caya and Litespeed M1's mostly, PB had some ugly Fujis (horrible paint) and Tiagra Scattantes). Took a gamble on Rossetti and am very happy so far. I also like that I might be the only guy in San Diego riding this bike.

Works pretty good. I was looking at some $40 bags at the LBS...glad I didn't buy one.
