At last June is here

June is my favorite month. Everything is new and green and fresh. It is warm enough to ride every day, and the blazing hot days of July and Aug are not here yet.

So get out on your favorite bike or trike and take an nice relaxing ride and enjoy the great month of June.

Yeah, but on or about 6/22 the days start getting shorter.

When I was out at lunch today, the lilacs were all in bloom and it made for a delightfully scented ride.
Happy June!

Happy June!
Just returned from an 18 mile ride, much rural plus 3 miles of gravel, lots of Flox in full bloom, great aroma.

Early morning June (and May) rides are the best all year. The temps are comfortable, the sun is shinny, the birds are a chirping and the flowers are smelly, in a good way.

Mid 90's°F today, just got dumped on with 2.5 inches of liquid sunshine, lost power for a bit from REAL CLOSE lightning strikes. YUP, typical day for the next 5/6 months PLUS upcoming hurricanes could make things even more interesting.

June is a great month. Def a time of year where I don't have to be bothered by cold snow & cold sloppy mud.

It's still miserable here most of the time and sometimes we're lucky if you we get 1 or 2 sunny or even partly sunny days out of the week. In 3 weeks day time will start getting shorter and it's countdown to another miserable winter and summer weather hasn't even started here. God I HATE THE WEATHER HERE IN VANCOUVER, CA.

Where I live, this is the first day of hurricane season, but daily temps are just starting to push 90F. Headwind today tended to be less harsh than the spring winds up till now. Humidity is building but a five mile sprint to finish a 36 mile ride is still fun.
