WTB: Stronglight 49/TA (or other 5-pin) Crankset
Looking for a Stronglight 49, TA, or other 5-pin crankset as the title states. Open to square taper or cottered cranks, mainly just want a 5-pin model. Steel or aluminum is fine. For aluminum cranks, would prefer an earlier model (50's-60's) with the thinner arms, but will consider any and all options. Either just the crank arms or a full set with rings is fine.
Thanks!
Thanks!

How about a Shimano Arabesque with W-cut rings and, as I recall, those one-key install/remove bolts - $25.00 US + shipping or trade for something needed.

Assuming you mean 50.4 bcd arms, in addition to Stronglight and TA, keep an eye out for Nervar (model 631/633), Sugino (PX, Pro Dynamic, Super Maxy), Electra Ticino, Velo Orange. Zeus made one too, but it's bolt spacing is not compatible with others.

I definitely have a 50.4 5-pin Nervar I could pass on. Would that work?

The Nervars are nice since they take a standard extractor.

Since you mentioned "TA", I have both a TA Po-5-Vis "Cyclo Touriste" triple crankset (w/ axle, possible cups, too--have to look) and a Viscount (TA clone) dual crankset (less BB). The former was purchased by me in the late 70s. The latter came on a Viscount (Lambert) Aerospace bike purchased in the early 80s. Some extra rings. TA is well used, but still has a lot of life in it. The Viscount has very little use, if any at all. Interested?

The Lambert (Viscount) ones also come out with a standard extractor, IIRC. No special size crank puller needed.

I do actually have a TA and Stronglight extractor, so wouldn't have any issues on that end. But in general, a standard extractor is nice. One less tool to keep track of.

One can also adapt a 38t 130 bcd small ring to fit a 128 bcd Nervar crank. Just a little filing on each bolt hole.
