Miyata(?) Gran Touring (women's)
Considering this for my girlfriend. I'm pretty sure it's Miyata, although there is no decal on the downtube.

You may need new tires/tubes, so another similar amount. Personally, I would pass. They are asking $200.00, I assume Canadian, but that is way too high in my opinion. I'd be looking for something lighter weight and a couple decades newer myself.

To me, based on the other decals, I think the bike to be an entry level Canadian Tire Super Cycle. I really don't know for sure but I doubt the bike is of Miyata origin. Other than that, can't add much more.

+1, it is a 1970s Supercycle. This one was manufactured by Bridgestone, as you can see the faux spearpoints for the die cast, aluminum lugs. It's entry level with stamped dropouts, brake safety levers, steel cottered crankset and nutted axles. I'm surprised it doesn't have stem mounted shift levers. This a garage sale bicycle. Ottawa is a high priced but even in the Capital market, it's not a $200 CDN bicycle.
