Strange, I always thought the prestigious marque Ciocc had more wins under their belt than just the 1977 World Amature Championships?......

I sent a quote request for a 'frame only' last night, this was waiting in my inbox this morning.
Very realistic pricing (about $1400 delivered at today's exchange rate) for a hand built frame made to order in your choice of colors (not sure what a 'bundle is, perhaps multiple colors) with that much finish work on it.
Dear Doc,
Thank you very much for your mail and sorry for my late answer.
Our Vintage steel frames are all 100% hand made in Italy with Columbus Tubing SL NIOBIUM and chromed fork; the lugs, bottom bracket and fork crown are micro moulded. The frame SAN CRISTOBAL reflect our philosophy to build a frame to be truly different and unique; a frame customized according to the rider's wishes. CIOCC is the pure expression of Italian craftsmanship and of the attention to every detail either technical and aesthetic. You can customize geometry, size and colour to create a your personal bike. You can chose the colour you wish in two different lay out: plain colour or with bundles.
Lead time is approx 8 weeks because any single piece is made according to customer request and we do not keep stock. We can offer the kit frame, including head set campagnolo record, at a price of 1400 euro. For direct sales, we apply 20% discount so the price reserved for you drop to 1120 euro. Shipping cost to USA : 90 euro.
Concerning how to buy, once we agree all the details about size, colour and components, I will provide you a proforma asking a payment of 20% as down payment. The balance will be paid before shipment upon the pictures I will provide to confirm compliance of the product to your order. Payment will be by bank transfer
Should you need any further clarifications or info. Pls do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to receiving a your feedback and I hope you confirm your interest.
Best Regards
Giulio Guidetti

Ciocc was never a big sponsor of pro teams, so the brand palmares is small. Besides the 1977 victory, the other notable success was a Polish rider's silver medal at the 1980 Moscow Olympics, which was commemorated in the Mockba '80 model. However, there were many pro victories on non-Ciocc frames built by the owners of the Ciocc brand. Notably, the Concorde bicycles of the PDM teams from the late 1980s and very early 1990s were reportedly manufactured by Conti, owner of the Ciocc brand at the time.

Is that a coaster brake on the bike in the lower photo on the Ciocc website (see link in first post)?

Yikes. I have a NOS Campagnolo Record (2001-2?) 10spd gruppo- that would be a sweet Century bike!

Not too long ago, on its death-bed BikeNashbar, and Adrenaline Bikes, and whoever else, were selling some kind of Ciocc San Cristobal frames...look it up - it was even discussed in this very sub-forum.
Now there's this...
"We are pleased to inform you that the company ITALIAN STYLE BICYCLE SRL has purchased the rights to manage the brand CIOCC, a trademark of proven quality and tradition in the business of racing bicycles. We are in the process to reorganize our commercial network..."
Is it the Italian version of Bikedirect?
Check around their whole website - they are even selling an E-bike...

Not the first time the name has changed hands. Pelizolli, who built the original San Cristobal, sold it off in the late 70's and continued to build bikes under contract for various manufacturers (as well as ones under his own name).

Nice looking CIOCC but for my money I would purchase an original and ride on.

I think "bundles" is better translated as "panels", as on the first frame pictured.

Gorgeous SC reissue/remake. The 'model' bike in the photo would be the color combination I would choose. And kudos to them for actually raking the fork via bending a radius as opposed to having it a straight blade like the new/reissue Colnago Arabesque. Count me a fan of this. The pista/track model looks nice, too.

Ciocc San Cristobal - Campagnolo Ekar 1x
I bought an old Ciocc frame and decided to experiment. I’ve added the Archer Components Trail D1x to make my 1x monster (sorta) electronic shifting through the 13 gears, 9 - 36. It’s a 42 tooth single chainring.
Great hill climbing machine, but I wouldn’t ride it all day.
Got this in Budapest
Pink on black color way
