Frame change & chain length
Im changing all the parts from my old cro-moly frame to an alluminion one, the frame is the same size as the old one, exept the chain stay is 1/2" shorter , should i shorten the chain by 2 links or is that being too fussy ?

Check out this guide to chain length. It should answer all of your questions.

Thanks Ziemas. useing the visual's on that site, the chain length was correct on the old frame ,so I reduced the chain length by 2 links & it all worked ok exept I had to increase the length of the "B" screw to stop the top pulley rubbing on the 28t lowest sprocket.
