Alzheimers prevented by....Viagra?

OK, mostly we discuss problems here that are more associated with cycling and aging, and not simply the problems of aging.
But the prospect of mental decline is on the minds of many of us as we get older.

And so, it comes as some surprise that Viagra may be a good therapy for preventing Alzheimers....

I dunno what to make of this, really.

Pills and Ills, indeed.

Could it be that doing a daily physical recreational activity is what actually helps with Alzheimers? I mean, if that is your daily activity, then good on ya! I could only hope to be so "active" when I'm older.
I plan on tearin' it up at the retirement home. That's why make such a deliberate effort to be so active and healthy now. Ol' Myrtle's hip isn't going to break itself.

Perhaps it's active, generally healthy people self-select Viagra prescriptions?

Presumably, one would find a correlation with the female partners of these Viagra brains also, if that were true.

Talk to your doctor if you are remembering things you would rather forget...
