Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yes they are, great wheels. I just received another set from him a week or so ago, haven't had a chance to try them out yet though.

Looks very good LC. I agree with the others on the bartape however. Besides you have a black saddle, and you ride a lot. You should just put black bartape on it.

I’ve been riding this Fuji all-aluminum this season (began last season with a broken leg) and am happier with it than I expected. I had been riding Giant Kronos steel for the past four years & assumed I would be bothered with the stiffer aluminum frame – like I would feel the road chatter & bumps. However the difference, at least for me really isn’t that significant. I actually think this bike stays on the road better when I stand and climb – like my pedal strokes are more efficient now than with the steel bike.

Anyway…

https://pages.towson.edu/tgingeri/Cur...06_Roubaix.jpg

Mix of Dura-Ace 7800 & Ultegra 6600 parts (7800 crank, derailleurs, chain & brakes; 6600 shifters, pedals & wheels)

With the Sigma cyclo-computer, pedals & bottle cages; the bike weighs 17.65 lbs.

*In a same purchase, I bought the frame & fork used – which is an inch and a half too short for me. I tried to ride with the stem flipped & didn’t ride well. So expect a future post with a new fork...

I just picked this one up. Also, I'm old and have a bad back so y'all can save the "flip it" comments.

Here's what I've been riding. Yes I know the bar tape looks funky. 55cm LiteSpeed with full 10speed Campagnolo Veloce group. Had this bike re-painted and put on new decals. It's my bike and I like it.

Although I have already posted, I am posting again. Yesterday I got my first ever aftermarket wheels, Mavic Ksyrium Elites, and it is like having a completely new bike. I cannot believe the difference.

These guys have been drinking, the bartpe looks hideous, and hit the bomb switch and release that load under your saddle..That said the rest of the bike is a 10....

Roubaix SL3 Pro. My '04 Roubaix Pro had the BB sleeve de-bond from the frame and this is a warranty replacement.

Hey guys this is my first time posting. Just got into Cycling a couple of weeks ago on a whim. I've been riding as much as I can in my free time. I'm have done about 250km so far. Steadily increasing my distance and pace.
