Well, is a tough act to follow. I don't get around nearly as much as that anymore.
Here's a new set of handlebars over which you see my native habitat of Saint Paul, MN. The bike in question was a 1981 Fuji Royale 12-speed roadbike, which I have roadsterized by swapping out the derailleur for an old Sturmey-Archer AW 3-speed hub and a single chainring up front. It makes for a nice, comfy, simple Toshi Baiku (City Bike, in Japanese).
It has a pair of compound-curve bamboo fenders from , a nice Gye's leather saddle, and an alloy chainguard from Velo Orange. So of course I have to include a shot of that here as well:
What a beautiful day for a ride...

Finally Got a new bike this year. I bought a Giant ATX lite and I had to get the Jones H loop bars. The bars are great for the multiple hand positions. Need better tires for mountain biking, but those will come later.

I've a shot from yesterday's ride that fits this thread, I think. I'll dig it out later and post it.

Below is a shot from yesterday's ride. You're looking at the Iron Ore Heritage Trail somewhere between Marquette and Neguanee, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Beautiful trail. Got in 19 miles, give or take.
