C-record transitional bits
Here are some C-record parts that I have and that might be of interest to others.
First execution C-record rear derailleur (1.0) together with its "transitional" execution "1.5" brother (or sister maybe). Note that the lower cut out has rounded ends - the second (2.0) version has straight. The 1.5 is known since long but they are far between.
The 1.5 came from this bike - formerly owned by a top racer here in Sweden. Maybe interesting also for some as it is a Merckx/Crescent.
And a C-record crank with "4" in a circle - putting it at 1984 (not from the above bike).

Good to see a side by side comparison. I have the 1.0 that came on my Merckx Pro. The crank is dated 1985 as well as the frame. I like the look, it recalls the 1950's "space age" look, like an Airstream camper trailer if you're familiar with those. FWIW the RD weighs more than a pat '84 Super Record.

Looks like someone hit the deck with one of those mechs, that is some serious scarring on the top end, and even took off part of a limit screw's slot/head. That particular generation of Campagnolo never really looked good to me, for some reason. They seemed kind of chunky after the years of The Nuovo Record, and the more minimalist design that they had. How did these shift?
That Crescent/Merckx is nice looking, the red and white just stand out, to me. With a different group installed, I would love to have something similar. You have shown us some beautiful bikes we don't normally get to see, with the Swedish makers that you have shared. Nice to get a fresh perspective, and from someone knowledgeable about bikes, and that presents things well. Thanks much, Styggno1.
