Question 'bout my new Mirrycle MTB mirror...
'Just added one to my commuter today. I love the size and the solid mounting system; however, I'm noticing that the reflection at the center of the mirror is a little funky and blurred. Is this common, or did I get a bad one?
(PS: Please do not respond with opinions about other mirrors. I made the choice to purchase this one after lots of input from forum members and I do not intend to replace it with another. Thanks!)

Same here. I left mine a little loose to allow for a little more give when I bang it on things, and that makes the image a little blurry when I'm on rougher pavement but nothing that makes it too hard to see.

Hmmm, OK. I've written to Mirrycle about it. Now I'll see if they really are as difficult to deal with as the LBS clerk said they are. Thanks for the input, all.
Meanwhile, I can't believe what a difference a mirror makes. After about 45 years on a bike, I'm finally without a stiff neck after a long day on the saddle!

How perfect an image do you need to tell if a Truck is coming up behind you?
had an eye exam lately? Glaucoma, has made my eyesight deteriorate,
now I have to try stabilizing it to keep it from getting worse.

If you bought it from the lbs, why didn't they exchange it for you? Seems odd they had you contact then.
I love my mirricyle, by not using the "upright" piece it works just fine on my drop bars.
