I need help, and google isn't helping me
Okay I'm new to this, I get it. I've been on google for a couple of hours looking for info on what size battery, motor, and ESC to get for an ebike I want to build, and its just spamming me with kits with no info and prebuilt bikes. So I'm hoping you guys could give me info on setups you have and where you got the stuff. Thanks

What are your parameters? How fast do you want to go, top speed? How far and at what speed do you want to go? What is your budget? Do you have a bicycle already or do you have to purchase that as well? What is the terrain you will be using your e-bike on, hills or relatively flat roads?

I plan to buy a bike, I want to be ready for most terrain (reasonably), top speed isn't hugely important, and this would just be for a day-to-day college campus traveler.

You might as well save up a bit more and go for the kit Spirit733t suggested which is $1050. Plus you'll need $300-400 more for a good rear bike rack and the Cycle Analyst and panniers. Get this pannier https://www.bikebagshop.com/ortlieb-v...0.html#reviews which is what I use. You can convert it into a backpack when you get to school. You'll only be able to hold about two or max three classes worth of notes. It's not big on space but the conversion to a backpack is the coolest thing this side of sliced bread.
