..it's an optical illusion. Plus Jamis (in addition to using liberal amounts of superglue) found a way of passing the chain thru the real wheel to the derailleur located on the opp side!!!

nice bike I have a Allez sport to see my post up above, so how do you like the ride, I think the Allez sport rides a lot rougher then my OCR 2 but it is a lot lighter frame,

Trek 1000 AL
I just took my first ride (of any significance) on it today. It is my first road bike, and first time to actually be on a bike in a few years.
I'm still trying to get a feel for the bike, and the sport, but I think I made the right choice.
Bicycling Magazine seems to think so

I have a "fake Lemond". I bought a vintage steel frame (from 1974) in mint condition. Then I added 105 parts (combination of used and new) and some Alex rims. I tried to copy the Lemond Croix de Fer. I have yet to receive my new clipless pedals from the man in brown. I like riding this more than my Felt F70 due to the sweat equity that I have in it. I make the stickers on my pc and just stuck them on. It is a sweet ride and probably weighs around 23-24 pounds. Yes, I like to tinker...
I'll post a pic once I figure out how to do it on this forum.

Here is pic of my home-made fake LeMond... I still don't have my clipless pedals. They should be delivered by Santa in brown this week.

Cannondale 3.0 Sport LX with flat bar, mountain bike pedals, big chain ring and front derailleur removed. 21 lbs. with a 63cm frame in spite of a heavy fork and rims. I did these mods 10 years ago to make a quick and agile city bike. 5 years before Cannondale made the Bad Boy.
