Hey Northeasterners

It was 55 in Atlanta today, blue skies nice breeze, took a 14 mile ride to do a little shopping. So I'm sorry I guess.

I would love to get involved in this blizzard discussion, but I have to go out in my short pants and t-shirt now to walk the dog.

The Northeast isn't always great in the winter, but most of us would keep it in exchange for the Southern humidity. I grew up in TN and wouldn't go back for a host of reasons, including the weather. Like everything, it's a trade off.

Yep.. better than Hot-lanta summer and getting blasted by hurricanes.

there is always something pretty much no matter where you live. I'll probably have tues and maybe wed off from school so i'll be snowshoeing or xc skiing. better than the trainer

I love New England although tomorrow when that 3 ft of snow hits I might have to retract that statement.

In all seriousness I too love New England and often feel more at home in small town New England than I do in small southern towns.

It was at least 65 here and I had my first ride of the year. Our forecast is for a high of 77 on Wednesday.

New England abides when 2-3 feet of snow is predicted.

Atlanta panics when 2-3 inches of snow falls.

And there's these new contraptions called fatbikes...

The storm is hitting eastern CT full force. Woke up this morning at 5:30 AM and it was snowing at 2" an hour. Just north of us has 22" already. It's supposed to snow until sometime tomorrow and then we will get a storm on Thursday and another on Sunday. The wind is at 15-20 MPH and blowing the light grainy snow back onto shoveled areas. This really is impressive.

can't tell how much we actually have since it is blowing 30mph with gusts to 50. going to try to at least clean some of the driveway in a bit and see how it holds up.

I wonder how many Canadians are looking at these pictures and thinking "that's it, eh?".
