We were hanging outside eating vegan doughnuts and stuff and two dads told their kids "there are no pokestops here let's turn around" whacky times indeed.
I don't understand what this whole pokemons thing is about but I hope it ends in a lot of dead morons. We need more natural selection these days ; )

I played PoGo for a total of about 15 minutes. I think it's a pretty cool idea and I think it's neat how it's getting people out of the house - seeing people wandering around every park I pass on my way home from work, during summer in Phoenix, is pretty great.
The people that are too obsessed with it and forget about the world around them can be a bit annoying, but people have been incoherent of their surroundings since smart phones existed, so I can't blame all of that on the game.

What about the oblivious people standing in the middle of a dedicated bike path at night with their noses so deep in their phones that they forget that an outside world exists?

I had that happen to me a couple days ago on a bike path at the lake. A huge guy carrying an ice chest in one hand and playing with his phone in the other walked into the bike path and STOPPED, dead center, frozen like a deer. Absolutely clueless to his surroundings and that he did that when I was ~10 feet away going about 18 mph. Fortunately I had plenty of room to avoid him, but even when I went past him (closely) he never knew I was there.

Every dumb thing people do with Pokemon Go, they've already been doing for years with texting.

I read this post earlier this evening and it made me sad that people feel this way.
In a world where people and police are shooting each other in the streets, little kids are murdered in school and terrorists are driving trucks into crowds, this just seems like more of the same.
People are free to do and say whatever they want and everyone makes choices in life. I've seen people die and have held dying people in my arms. I don't wish death on anyone.

I have taken a new perspective on death having gone through a lot of deaths in my family and amongst friends recently as well as seeing what we as humans do to each other and animals and my positions have changed quite a bit because of that.
I am not saying people should go out and kill someone because of this pokemon thing nor for any reason as stupid as that. I am just wishing nature would do it's thing. Maybe then can we live in peace and harmony, kumbaya and all that jazz.
The pokemons thing was whacky. The donuts were freakin' delicious...White Chocolate Pretzel donuts, are you kidding me, so good! A properly fluffy donut well frosted with a little crunch and a hint of salt...yum-o!
Got some extras and had one before riding this morning probably not great fuel but it was good motivation to burn that thing off.

Today I realized that I really don't enjoy SS bikes -- I gotta be either on a geared bike or FG

Second session at the track, tons of fun again. I'm slow, but I'll be working on that. Also, coming in off the rail in the corners almost made me **** myself the first couple times.

Today was the last day of short track, so I'm sad until September when cross picks up.
