Don't worry, it's trapped in there unless you meet a mad scientist for a cannibal.

I'd say something but we'll all end up in P&R via the Twilight Zone.

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future,
concentrate the mind on the present moment.
Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know.
Even if we run a hundred miles an hour to the other side of the continent,
we find the very same problem awaiting us when we arrive.

I need to buy some more Chain-L, but shops near me that are listed as retailers on the Chain-L website do not actually stock it anymore. I sent FBinNY a message via the Chain-L website contact form, but didn't hear back. Anybody know if he's still around, still running the bidniss?

I miss markwesti. I actually had his physical address but it was wrapped up in a parts box that was stored in my shed and it was smudged from humidity...or my tears.

I also miss canklecat ....What he's still posting? Ok, then I don't miss him.

I know canklecat in real life. Haven't ridden with him in a while because I am not doing group rides right now but I see him around FB frequently.

Yep, I'm a bit of a hermit this year due to the pandemic. I have attended about one group ride a month since July, but only casual rides where nobody is breathing heavily, blowing snot rockets or snorting and drooling while chasing PRs and KOMs. And I still usually wear a surgical mask during the rides. Our meetups are outdoors so hopefully we're taking adequate precautions.

But I still avoid more than one such group ride a month, or every couple of weeks at most, because I want to give myself time to see whether I've developed any symptoms.

I'm more at risk from my many medical appointments this year. I've rescheduled many appointments, done several via phone, but I've had some in-person appointments that were unavoidable for urgent care.

Health care facilities are among the highest risk so I always self-quarantine for at least a week. I don't even check my mail or take out the garbage until the middle of the night. We're in an enclosed apartment building with shared common hallways and inside-facing doors. All of my neighbors are elderly and/or disabled. At 63 I'm one of the youngsters and relatively healthy. I don't want to risk infecting them so I've avoided most contacts with neighbors all year.

My upper respiratory allergies and asthma are worse than usual this year so I'm always a bit paranoid about every sniffle, sneeze, cough and bout with congestion.

Same. I think we're all more conscious of sniffles than usual. Not sure it's worse than most years but we're thinking about it more.
