My daughter 2.5 years old has been showing interests in horses. She always wants to go to colonial williamsburg to see the horses, and she has started to pretend she is riding horses when playing. Today we took her took her to a farm to try riding a pony for the first time. She was hooked. I have never seen her so happy and she did not want to get off. She didn’t even need any help once we put her on the pony.
The farm has a lot of different trainers, and there is one that has worked with young kids in the past so we are hoping she will let her start.

.
I'm not saying you are wrong, but there is too much vegetation and trees from the direction of travel with traffic. There's a pretty good median from the opposite direction.I can't see any point of exit from the roadway.
. If you look to the right of the vehicle you can see disturbed vegetation and a bit of a trail coming down. There are homes above. I can imagine a driveway along side the house..... It looks to me like it came down the side of the hill and nosed into the ground and flipped over. I hope im not right though.

Okay, so I have brakes, brake levers and brake cables. I have front and rear derailleurs and levers that will work (friction) till the 8sp (SIS)rear lever arrives. I have a crankset. I have spare pedals. I have replaced the seat color clamp bolt so I can use the original seat collar. I have the original seatpost and a saddle. I have a stem and bars. I have two sets of wheels and 5 tires, and 3 cassettes. I even have a NOS RX100 rear QR skewer so the mismatched Ultegra rear wheel can pass for RX100.
All I need is the bottom bracket, which is (still) somewhere between Rochester and here. I can't really do much till it arrives, except what I've BEEN doing which is to keep buying other parts I really don't need, and obsessively checking USPS tracking.

Right before 5 o'clock i got a call from the cardiologist office and they went over my monitor and stress test results. Normal for both. Now I have to get my lower half to stop burning when I sit. Today was not much better so the beeping laser machine better kick it up a notch. Right now I'm stretching.
Even though my bum was on fire I had to celebrate with a short ride. I wore bibs and tights for extra padding and it wasn't too bad. Going to try again tomorrow. Should be about 70.
Thanks again @datlas for the consult.

the average heart rate was 120 and I was a bit faster. I'm going to wait to find my drug altered new max heart rate until I do the following up with the cardiologist on 3/17.

So I told the guy organizing the zwift stuff, if you didn't want me to ride with you, you should have just said so. I've had enough.
I was with the group got 10 minutes. Then off they went. Here's a little token after the ride.

Not fun

My wife ordered some fancy bar soap from France - comes in a big block that you need to cut up. She said that it was supposed to be unscented - it's anything but. The smell was immediately familiar, but I couldn't quite place it... and then it hit me. I went downstairs to the shop area to grab something and brought it back up for my wife to smell. "Yeah," she said, nodding, "that's it."
The shop item was a tube of Phil's Waterproof Grease.

No. I didn't win. I got dropped. But guys riding @ 130 watts per hour just rode away from me like I was nailed to the road.
That is my highest ever watts per hour. 279 watts per hour average. At one point they were 1:50 in front of me. I managed to bring them back to 20 seconds at one point .
so thats what I just can't understand. How can I get dropped when I'm pushing more than double the wattage of the weekest guy on the ride?

So If I buy zwift and an indoor trainer, and we raced, I could win!
