Addiction 2021.1

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yep, that's what I was thinking, too, along with relatively heavy wheels. Then again, it's a size small.

You have the only rim brake R3 in the group. I don't think that my Rotor/P2M crankset is terribly light, either - I would expect that it's as much as a couple hundred grams heavier than an Ultegra crankset, but I don't know for sure. But again, I'm just guessing at the total bike weight and being somewhat conservative... I think.

More evidence that disc brakes aren't ready?

That makes sense, I’d have guessed a half a pound difference otherwise

If anybody sees a Ritchey Breakaway size 58/56 for sale shoot me a pm. Preferably 1250 or less.

So far I have only been able to find two in my size. One in Ohio doesn’t come with a case, and the other one is in Oregon, a little over budget.

Down for S and S couplers as well.

I don't get it that's for sure. Other than the guy that caused a bunch of us to quit the old club is now riding zwift with them. Only thing I can figure. I dont know how it all fits together. But I doubt its unrelated.

I have the same PM with Rotor ALDHU arms and a steel axle. Pretty sure it weighs more than the 6800 set that was there before. I make up for it by carrying less water.

It's funny. I grew up at 48th Street, about a mile away from the west edge of campus. Went away for high school. Came home for college, although I did live on campus 3 or my 4 years. One year I lived in my mom's basement. Seriously.

We stay at the old Atherton when we overnight there. I think it’s called the graduate or something now.

Did you ever hear of Doctor Demento? He had a radio show here for years. That Camaro song would have been right in line with his show.
