My new ride

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Can't say enough nice things about that bike - and knowing how you ride, it seems to be a perfect match.

Did you get the bars tightened down?

Very nice paint job on that frame...

but the font doesn't fit!

Beautiful bike! I've had a set of DT Swiss R1.1 based wheels for about a month now, and I really like them, I'm sure you're going to enjoy yours as well. Where did you get the logo free bars and stem? Inquiring minds need to know.

That looks like downtown Portland in the background of the first pic. But the sun's out. So where's you take the picture?

Har, har, har.

That is a beautiful bike!

Haha, yeah I had Sellwood Cycles torque it down just right. I was hesitant to do it myself, and as you heard when I went to bunnyhop a pothole, the stem clamp over carbon sure creates a loud *crack* sound when it's not tightened down enough! Pretty scary, but Rad assured me it was just the carbon sliding, and it's been riding fine so far.

The stem/handlebar are Tommaso, came with the bike package. I love the naked carbon, still getting used to the very shaped anatomical bars.

I'm loving the wheels, they feel very sturdy, light, and quick. You can't really tell in the photos, but he put green nipples on the spokes, which create a cool look while the wheel is spinning in the sun!

What's even more impressive is the background in the first pic. I don't have any tall bldgs where I live...

Nice bike BTW. Smooth, clean lines...nothing special...that's what does it for me.
