Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yah, I'm not crazy about the colors on mine either, but defiantly a nice deal.

The roadies are conspiring to overthrow the fixed gear movement in the hope it'll draw more attention to their sect of the pedal cycling sports.

Hey, I want to say thanks to everyone on this site. I've been lurking for awhile while building up my first conversion and this forum has helped a lot.

Here's my first fixed gear... bits and pieces from all over. Certainly nothing spectacular but I'm loving it.

Them's some big balls you have there. I couldn't do it. I quit riding fixed and my ankles and knees are all the happier for it.

Kudos to you!
