If you could go back in time ...

... and give your 25 year old self some words of wisdom ... what would they be?

This really only applies to people 35 and older, but if you're around 25 years old now, then what would you say to our 10 year younger self?

When I was 25, Apple was on a fast, steep decline. I would have laughed in my own face.

I would have said "Don't worry. It's not going to go the way you think, but it'll work out."

Buy EMC stock, during the 90s it made more than msft and appl. Most people have no clue.

Other than some of the obvious money stuff people already listed I would try to tell myself to take better care of my health. I'm paying the price for some of it now. Of course when you're 25 you're indestructible and going to live forever so who knows if I would have listened.

If you were to give your younger self some words of wisdom, your life may change to where you wouldn't exist in the future to return to give yourself advice!

Don't quit riding a bicycle. Ride to class the mile to campus instead of drive. I imagine by the time I left, drove to a parking lot, walked from parking lot to building class was in, it would have taken less than half that time to just hop on a bike and ride, chain a cheap old bike up, and walk into the building. If I recall, pretty much every building on campus had bike racks. I was so lazy back in my college days. :-(

When you break up with your wife, in 12 years, do not jump right into the very next relationship that comes along...

Go to bed with as many chicks as you can. Older women, especially if they have kids, just aren't very interested.

Not to mention the ravages of age and childbearing.

Several things:

Buy stock in Intel, Microsoft, Apple

When in college, get to know Larry Barels and be persistent.

Don't marry "ex Mrs. Artkansas". Focus on your career instead.

I would try to impress upon myself the need for better decisions about money; the making of it, the investing of it.
