We have done it twice, and were satisfied both times. The most recent purchase was in 2012.

I did not know that could be done. I have a Costco card, so I've been in the stores enough to know they have bikes.

I've used it 3 times. You'll just get kicked down to the fleet department of the nearest participating dealer. I don't know if it's the least expensive but it's pretty convenient.

Right you can get a better deal on your own but it's a lot more hassle. You have to figure out how much your time is worth.

I bought a Honda Odyssey minivan back in 2005, the experience seemed pretty good. I came away feeling that I had paid less than would have if I had just walked into a dealership, plus I got to avoid haggling. The only reason I'm not interested in doing it again is I hope I never buy a new car again.
