First group ride today

Hey guys i'm 18 and have been biking for about a month now 20m a day 3-4 times a week. This morning I went on my first group ride we went 33 miles at an average of 23-24 mph. I have to say that this ride has furthered my love of the sport I feel amazing i'm gonna try to go for another 30m ride tommorow morning. Anyways I just wanted to share my experience. This site has provided me with lots of useful tips and information.

only a month and at 23-24?! I'm impressed! 1 month on me and doing the same distances averaging 17-18 :-\

Congrats, riding with a group is definatly alot of fun if you find the right group.

That speed is very imaginative.

Did you guys run every stop sign and red light doing 24 mph?

Group riding is easier, It is fun though

Congrats on the new hobby, but are you sure those averages are correct? 40.276 km/hr = 25.02750 mi/hr. Lance, and the peleton averaged this in one of his overall wins during Le Tour de France. You guys should consider a move to the Pro ranks if it's true.
