*sigh*

I'm writing a test program for the C++ class I'm TA'ing. Now, the submission script we use runs on an ancient version of linux whose C++ compiler isn't nearly up to the level of template kung-fu I require, but I don't have ssh or telnet access to the machine. I just tried being sneaky and uploading a recent version of gcc via the submission script, but the cgiwrap thing won't let it change directories, so "make" is no good. Sigh!

Bummer, C++ classes in college / university, suck. I know this because I've helped many a struggling student through

Let's see, it's after 3 now . . .
I'm being an insomniac. Like always. I have a chem test tomorrow. I'm not studying though, just being awake.

I was up at 3:30 this morning when our 20-month-old started crying. My wife went in to take care of her, but I never got back to sleep, so I've been at work since 5:30.

Second semester of general, inorganic chem. The prof is worthless, so it's just me and the book. How long did you BS take? Mine looks like it's gonna be 6.5 years.
