Firefox for me, I've found none better.

Should have made this a checkbox.
I use Firefox for BF (because of the tabs). I use IE 6 for everything else at work because it r0x0rz my b0x3n.
I use IE 7 at home and have stopped using Firefox completely at home except for testing websites. In which case I use Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, Safari and Opera.

By the way - you probably should have included Safari in your poll

I use Opera. Firefox is okay, but IE is a sitting duck for every spy and hacker. But Opera costs money for the ad free version. Firefox is free. Opera is the Litespeed of web browsers.

I have a firewall and three anti-spy programs. Still, I think about getting even more protection. If you open an attachment through the mail, you are asking for trouble.

I use FF at home (mostly), and IE at work.

When IE 7 is publically available, I'll probably switch back to IE.

I use "company hacked piece of garbage crashfest v.00919831083701827013710 hyper mega turbo psycho alpha disco beta shoryuken"

----aka Opera, having to deal with a crappy computer from the early 90s, with crappy access privs, with even crappier IT maintaining it, and the crappiest internet pipe ever.

Was safari in the poll?

I think there are people who use it. I can add it if you want me to.

And I am an IE fan. Old school, I know.

The poll was only to question the most well known browsers, which in my opinion, Safari is not. So just vote other

I was using Firefox but it kept consuming memory on my computer, ultimately causing crashes. I couldn't figure out what was happening and it just got so bad I had to go back to IE. Too bad, too, because I really liked Firefox.

Thanks for the flag. However, I have IE on automatic pick up for any new revisions. In my experience, it still lets in 20 times the unwanted visitors of Opera. But, with a few sites, as you know, you have to keep IE in reserve.

Firefox for me. Just "upgraded" to 1.5 Beta 2. I like it. Unfortunately there are times when I have to use IE though. The office is switching to a Mac standard ($1000 Powerbook G4's!), so it'll be interesting how that pans out when it comes to browsing at the office.

Firefox for me. Although I'm using the current version. I tried 1.5 beta 2 and it was too buggy for me.

Firefox sucked. Every time i turned around, plug in, plug in, plug in. IE is much improved and the pop up blocker is every bit as good. Plus it works no matter where you go.

I usually tend to go with the industry standard when it comes to technology. In the early years I used Netscape. I've used IE for many years now.

A myth? My department supports 2000 instances worldwide and I can tell you that it is no myth. Yes, if you set the security to cripple the browser from the functionality that makes it useful, especially it's integration with other MS products, it is less risky, but that integration is required for our systems, otherwise I would have replaced IE 2 years ago.
