Bikeforums needs a Teenager forum.

Kinda like what the 50+ people get, but for 20 and unders.

What do you think?

You guys won't have to deal with the 1337 speak as much, as most of it will be contained in another forum.

Nope, a lot of us old guys hang out in there. Most of the younger riders in that forum act like adults as well.

The very thought of a teenage forum genuinely frightens me. What are you going to post about there, acres of angst ridden poetry about how your girlfriend and your bike don't really understand the real you and how complicated life is like the inner workings of a bottom bracket?

We need an "emo kids" forum, then...

I think the idea has merit. But just as the over 50 forum does not bother to check the claimed age so the 'teen' forum should allow anyone in. Younger riders have their own issues and concerns. I want a part or a bike more than anything my only problem is shopping. Not so for many younger riders. Lack of respect from drivers or peers takes an entirely different face. I would hope the forum would not be entirely non standard grammer and spelling. I might want to drop in and read it sometime. But is it is so be it.

The upside of having a teen forum is that it will be a good place for ****** to post and recruit new members.

I don't think that anything in the world is simultaneously as creepy and hilarious and quixotic as is ******.
